Seth Kaplan, M.Ed. is the CEO and Director of Peak Performance for Corporate Warrior Consulting (CWC), a Washington-DC based consulting company. With extensive experience in the interrelated fields of Mental Toughness, Leadership, and Human Performance, Kaplan provides 1-on-1 consults and group presentations for both the private sector and government.
Currently, Kaplan provides the Corporate Warrior Peak Performance Program for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). In May 2017, Kaplan received commendation for his Peak Performance instruction by 6.0 Weapons Division, Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) at China Lake, CA. Kaplan also provides the Corporate Warrior Adaptive Leadership Program for both NAVAIR and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).
Kaplan also serves as the Coordinator of Mental Training and Leadership Development for the Baltimore Orioles. He is in his 7th year with the organization and will continue working with all of the Orioles’ key pitching prospects. Kaplan’s elite mental conditioning program for Orioles’ pitching talent has helped the O’s to be competitive in the American League East, one of the toughest divisions in baseball.
As Director of Mental Conditioning for Elite Performance Coaching, Kaplan works with numerous athletes, from the juniors to the pros, in a variety of sports. He also teaches Sports Psychology as an adjunct instructor at Duke University.
Formerly, Kaplan worked as a U.S. Army Performance Enhancement Specialist for Special Operations Forces and 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. He provided mental toughness and resiliency training for active duty soldiers, wounded soldiers, and spouses – at Fort Bragg and other Army posts around the country. Kaplan was commended for his instruction by the 2-319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, the 330th Transportation Battalion, and Task Force CORSAIR, Operation Enduring Freedom VIII.
Kaplan earned a graduate degree in Sports Psychology from Springfield College in Massachusetts and completed the Academic Excellence Program at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
